Publicly known as Shyam Sadhu, his official name is Krishna Kumar Mishra. Based in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, he has spent decades caring for animals — feeding monkeys through the practice of Vanarbhoj, helping injured and abandoned animals, and carrying out environmental work including plantation and gardening.
